Initially I started my wordpress hosted blog as a research tool on the theme “sex sells” however it has now evolved into a blog launched on my own domain all about SEO and online marketing.

My research looked at the effect that sex related content has on a web site, and looking at how certain web sites can use sexy themes and content to enhance a web site, and ultimately drive more traffic to it.

When searching the Internet we browse for sites that are appealing or unique, whether we are looking for the services of an SEO specialist, looking to purchase a bouquet of roses or even just looking for specific information we will inadvertently click on web sites that attract us.

The more people you can appeal to the more traffic you can drive to a web site.

Thinking globally there are very few things that a majority of the population have in common and finding something that we do is like finding gold.

Sex is one of them, hence the phrase “Sex Sells”

This type of theme and content should really only be used if it is deemed appropriate to your web site, whether you create a sexy slogan to entice people to read, use a sexy image, or write content rich innuendo, your web site must still be able to offer what it was created for i.e, to employ the services of a professional SEO Specialist (regardless how sexy they are!) purchase a bunch or roses securely online, or find out that vital information you require to finish that report.
