Sir Alan Sugar “The Apprentice” Anita Shah gets Fired

Cricket fanatic, qualified lawyer and self-confessed perfectionist Anita Shah says she was gutted to be fired first from the popular reality show BBC’s The Apprentice.

In last night’s show the girls team who named themselves Ignite and led by Mona Lewis wasted time selecting their cleaning equipment and as Anita calculated the team’s expenditure – she congratulated them for not exceeding the £200 limit.

The Girls team Ignite took £357 and spent £196.45, making a profit of £160.55.

The Boys team Empire took £347 but only spent £107.39, making them the winning profit of £239.61.

Anita’s stance: “Well done, we’ve come in just within budget but I think we’ve used our budget wisely.” made losing the task all the more damming.

In today’s current climate and with any task based on profit the whole importance in securing and maximising profits is to outlay expenditure as little as possible, and for Ignite they overlooked the basic fundamentals before they even got to work…

When firing Shah, Sugar said: “My gut instinct is telling me something; Anita, you put yourself forward as one of Britain’s best business prospects.
“You showed no initiative in spotting that you were going for a disaster and on that basis… Anita. You’re fired!”
